Wear A Smile…One Size Fits All

We are all born with a complete understanding of fun. It seems to fade over time and conditioning. So if you have forgotten how to have fun, my advice is to look at a child. Remember, you’ve only got one life so Embrace The Ride and have fun!

Be Where You Are
Kids are really good at enjoying the moment. Stop thinking about tomorrow or next week. Where you are is where the fun is.

Learn Something New
From new words to new facial expressions, kids are constantly learning. Aren’t we the ones who tell our kids, “learning is fun”?

Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Toddlers take risks all day long; learning to walk, climbing stairs, learning to swim. Adults tend to stay in their safe place. Muster the courage to wear that hot pink bathing suit you love so much.

Find The Music
While adults would find a car alarm loud and obnoxious, my kids would run to the front door yelling whose car is that or start dancing to the sound of the alarm. Find the music in your day.

Smile And Laugh As Much As Possible
I’ve read that children smile 400 times a day and adults only 15. Smiling is the catalyst to having fun.

Notice Nature
Children are in awe of ants, birds, clovers and dandelions. Allow yourself to be captivated by Mother Nature.

Be Unpredictable.
There is no knowing what a kid will get into. Step out of your ordinary routine and you’ll be surprised at how liberated you’ll feel.

Hand Out High Fives
Next time you hear some good news, give somebody a high-five. It feels good to get pumped about the little things.

Get Dirty
Kids aren’t afraid to experience life hands on and neither should you.

Break The Rules
Rules are based on what’s known and can inhibit what’s possible. Fun doesn’t follow all the rules.
